Career and jobs website, Glassdoor,
has announced its seventh annual Employees Choice Awards. The awards
recognize the best companies to work as voted by the employees in the US
and UK.
1. Google
Google has been named the ‘best company to work for’ by a number of
publications including Fortune. The tech giant has also been voted the
best company to work for in Canada, USA, Japan, Ireland, India and the
UK. It is hard to beat a work environment where employees come more to
play than to work. With fancy, colorful and playful offices, great perks
for employees and free lunches, employees have no reason to have
‘Monday blues’. But it is the open, collaborative and innovative culture
at Google that makes the organization different from most companies of
the same size. Co-founders Larry and Sergey have deliberately kept the
open culture of a start-up which has been replicated in Google’s 70
offices in 40 countries.
