SAD! University Student murdered by a club owner.

A university student was shot dead yesterday by a club owner in Kimilili, Bungoma County, after a small dispute.

County Commissioner, Mohamed Maalim, has condemned the killing terming it an unfortunate incident and promised to ensure that the culprit is punished.

While speaking to the media, Maalim called on the businessman famously known as Henrix to surrender himself to the nearest police station so as to avoid more complications adding that he is a criminal and out on bond and had earlier on threatened a police officer.

He called on locals who witnessed the incident to volunteer information to the police that will make the case stronger.

Maalim urged all those licensed to have firearms to use them wisely to avoid such incidences.

The club where the incident happened has been closed down indefinitely until investigations are completed.

The deceased was the only son of Bungoma County Chief Officer for Education, Mr. David Kibiti.
