Tension has been boiling up in the University of Nairobi apparently after SONU chairman disclosed that he will not be vying for the chairmanship post in the forthcoming elections.

A few hours ago; SONU chairman Babu Owino took to his Facebook page to disclose the reactions of his comrades who apparently do not want him to quit varsity politics. The outspoken Babu revealed that some comrades have even gone to EXTREEM measures just to stop him from quitting his position. “If you won’t pick nomination forms, we shall block all highways, kiosks, all toilets and all clubs and restaurants including SABINA JOY” wrote one comrade.
Well we all know the University of accommodates all the crazy characters that could not be admitted at Mathare so Babu better give in to their demands less he want the city to be filled with police chasing students. Down is an embedded post from Babu’s Facebook page:
