A Kenyan University student was on Monday charged for stealing a mobile phone from her fellow comrade which was worth Kenyan Shillings 24,000.The accused who was identified as Ms. Naom Chepkirui was accused of committing the offense on June 26 when she broke into Mr. Joseph Kipchirchir's cube and stole the phone and other +properties worth Kshs.30,000.
Ms Chepkirui denied the charges before the chief Magistrate of +Nakuru Cort Samuel Mungai. +Chepkrui is a third year student in +Egerton University Njoro campus where she is pursuing a bachelors degree in Economics & +statistics. The accused was released on a bond of Ksh.30,ooo and her case shall be heard as from 15th of July 2014.
